NILU - Norwegian Institute for Air Research and the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection in Poland - GIOS are implementing the project on "Strengthening the air quality assessment system in Poland based on Norwegian experience", as a part of the program on "Improving Environmental Monitoring and Inspection" within the framework of the European Economic area 2009 - 2014.
Various tasks carried out during the performance of the project within Activities 1 through 6 are summarized here.

Måledata juli 2013 - juni 2014. Miljøovervåking av utslipp til luft fra Snøhvit-Hammerfest LNG. NILU OR

Statoil har engasjert NILU - Norsk institutt for luftforskning til å gjennomføre måleprogram for "Miljøovervåking av utslipp til luft fra Snøhvit-Hammerfest LNG". Prosjektet startet 1. februar 2006. Denne rapporten oppsummerer resultatene av måleprogrammet fra 1. juli 2013 til 30. juni 2014. Det ble målt meteorologiske parametere på Melkøya og Fuglenesodden. Luftkvalitetsparametere ble målt på Fuglenesodden. PAH-prøver i luft ble tatt på Fuglenesodden. Nedbørsprøver tatt på Forsøl og Kargeneset ble analysert for PAH, hovedkomponenter, tungmetaller og kvikksølv. Gjeldende luftkvalitetskriterier er overholdt for alle komponentene. Resultater fra overvåkingen som gjøres i luft og nedbør samsvarer eller er marginalt høyere enn norske bakgrunnsnivåer.
