Emissions inventory for Dhaka and Chittagong of pollutants PM10, PM2,5, NOx, SOx, and CO. NILU OR
The Bangladesh Air Pollution Studies (BAPS) project is being prepared for the Clean Air and Sustainability project at the Bangladesh Department of Environment (CASE/DoE). This report summarizes the results from Task 1: Emission inventories. A combined methodology of using bottom-up and top-down scaled input data has been used to populate the emission inventory for Dhaka and Chittagong. Sources of emissions of PM10, PM2.5, NOX, SOX, and CO have been investigated for the sectors Industry (including brick kilns separately), Road Traffic, non-road Traffic, Agriculture, Urban, and Fossil Fuel (energy and gas processing). The emissions inventory has been compiled in the NILU model AirQUIS, which can then process the dispersion modelling of the emissions as needed for Task 2 of this project.

The Norwegian Pollution Control Authority (SFT) commissioned a literature survey on incineration of
fluoropolymer materials, overviewing the available literature on formation of greenhouse gases until August 2008. The survey provides the foundation on which decisions for the future needs for further investigations will be made. Suggestions for sampling were also part of the study.

Emission estimates for Norwegian cities. NBV_Emission Database v.0. NILU OR
Denne rapporten er en del av et nasjonalt modelleringssystem for lokal luftkvalitet ("Nasjonalt Beregningsverktøy" eller NBV prosjektet). Vi beskriver og dokumenterer utslippsdatabasen som er brukt som baseline i NBV prosjektet (dvs. NBV Utslipp Database v.0) og utslippsberegningene. Denne rapporten presenterer NOX og PM10 utslippsestimater for Bergen, Drammen, Grenland, Oslo, Trondheim og Stavanger, og fordelingen mellom sektorene. Rapporten understreker behovet for oppdatering av utslippsdata. Utviklingen er gjennomført i 2015 og er beskrevet i denne rapporten, og innebærer i) trafikksektoren gjennom utvikling av en applikasjon for å hente data; ii) husholdningssektoren ved å oppdatere utslipp fra vedfyring; og iii) oppdatering av skipsutslipp. De oppdaterte utslippene er NBV_Utlipp_Database v.1, som bedre representerer dagens situasjon, er i overensstemmelse med metodene som brukes for å beregne utslipp og fullfører identifiseringen av huller
